What Our First Customers Say
"I love the style and design of the Edge. The wood is beautiful and smooth to hold in your hand, and the shape fits my various bowl shapes. So easy to use for scraping the bowl and shaping my dough. My new favorite tool for making sourdough!"
Amber M.
"This has been a game changer. I like how it fits in my hand. I like that I can scrape the bowl and get the dough out because my arthritis makes it difficult for me to use my thumbs sometimes. This is just the coolest way to shape my loaves. And it's just so pretty!"
Susan C.
"I love my Wild Loaf lab bench scraper! I have used other scrapers, and no other scraper cleans the bowl better than Wild Loaf Lab! It is light and extremely ergonomic! A definite must for any bread aficionado!"
Liz F.

Frequently asked questions
What finishes do you use?
We use food grade flax oil (grocery store, not hardware store) for an heirloom satin finish. We don't use linseed oil (which is flax but frequently with added heavy metals). Not mineral oil (distilled from crude oil!). No tung oil (nut allergies). No shellac (beetles!). No funky plastic varnishes. No solvents. No stains. All natural. What our great ancestors used.
It penetrates deeper and outlives waxes and other oils, and hardens into a polymer matrix to protect both superficially, and within.
Wood in the kitchen can "dry" throughout use, so don't be afraid to clean it and rub a little flax oil in (or board butter, or whatever you like!)
Where are your products manufactured?
Right here in Coeur D'Alene North Idaho. With love.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. Hopefully we can make it right, but if not, we accept returns of unused products, just email us your order number, and ship it back to us. We charge a $5 restocking fee (to cover packaging and incidentals).
Baking bread is a simple, confident process that connects you with your past. Here's how we got started.
